Spinner is a toy intended for relaxation of individuals during a constructive thinking process. It also helps individuals who have a deficit in a particular area to concentrate. Spinner is a spinning/ rotating toy with a bearing that has been made with a 3D printer on the basis of 3D modelling using Onshape software.

Additional Info
-
What you will learn:
- Engineering:
- - Selection and connection of the components.
- Math:
- - appropriate sizing.
-
Expected Time:
From 5 to 10 hours
-
Materials & Recycled Materials:
- - Bearing 608 2rc c3
- - 3D printer Leapfrog bolt
- - 3D printer
- - PLA material for printing
-
Guide:
- 1. Based on the selected bearing and its characteristics we can draw in a 3D modelling program our own toy model.
- 2. Attached is a file spinnerSIC.stl, that can be downloaded.
- 3. In the CURA software a .stl file is inserted and a model for G-code for the 3D printed is created.
- 4. The code is transferred to a 3D printer and the model is ready for to be made.
- 5. At the end the bearing is inserted and the toy is ready for use.
-
Further Steps:
- Possible upgrade with more bearing elements and creating different shapes.
